God speaks to His people of old through Prophet Amos as He warns of our spiritual carelessness and “weak resignation to the evils we deplore.” God calls “But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” That justice and righteousness are given in the cross of Christ and His resurrection victory—given to you! By grace through faith. Apostle Paul, in 1Thessalonians, removes your fear of death and the grave and points you to the magnificent return of Jesus Christ in glory. “…the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” And Jesus, Son of God and Lord of all, gives the wonderful Parable of the wise and foolish virgins. You must be ready for His return. “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” Be made ready dear friend.
