Today is Ascension Day. 40 days after Easter, 10 day before Pentecost, the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ is central in the Proclamation of Jesus Christ only Savior. It is His Death we preach, His Resurrection in which we rejoice, and His Ascension in which we glory as members of His Body, the Church. It is He into whom you are baptized and from Him you received the Holy Spirit to repent and believe. He intercedes for you now. And He will return from the right hand of the power of God to take you to be with Him forever. Take the time to learn of Jesus and His Word this day, Ascension Day.
