In the upper room, the frightened disciples bolted the door for fear that they would be the next victims of hatred for Jesus. But the living Lord is in their midst on Easter evening and greets His disciples, “Peace Be With You.” True and real peace is not found anywhere else than in Christ Jesus. He comes to give repentance and salvation in the forgiveness of sins. Friend, cease your doubting and throw off the cynical wisdom of this passing away world by hearing the Word of Christ.
